HOW CAN I PAY FOR MY MEMBERSHIP?

We want to provide our members with as many payment options for their membership packages as possible, and let you chose the option that best works for you!

These options include payment plan, cash, credit card (MasterCard and Visa), EFTPOS, cheque or money order.

There are a number of ways to make your payment, including online via your MyCATS account, in person, via phone or mail. But the easiest way to pay is by becoming a Committed Cat, click here to learn more or join today.
 

CAN I PAY MY MEMBERSHIP OFF OVER THE SEASON?

Our Payment Plan program, “Committed Cats” has been designed to make your membership renewal easier and more manageable.

The plan provides the option to spread your payment over 10 months*, commencing in November 2016 with the final payment due in September 2017. You can also make a one-off payment with both options, operating on an automatic “roll-over” at the end of each year.

As a Committed Cat your membership and will automatically be renewed each season until you choose to opt out.

CAN MY MEMBERSHIP BE AUTOMATICALLY “ROLLED OVER” EACH SEASON?

Absolutely, our Committed Cats program allows our members to have the opportunity to automatically renew their membership each season. This takes away all the hassle, making things quick, easy and simple, whilst allowing you the flexibility to opt out of the plan once your payments have been made.
 

WHAT IS A MYCATS ACCOUNT?

Your MyCATS account is the online destination to find all things membership! It is your own portal to update your personal details, pay for your membership, purchase additional products, manage your subscriptions and a whole lot more - simply click here to log in.
 

CAN I PURCHASE A SEASON SEAT AT SIMONDS STADIUM?

Yes, you can. We have multiple seats available for season purchase located in our Players Stand and Ablett Terrace, and a number of single seats scattered throughout the stadium.

CAN I PURCHASE MELBOURNE SEASON SEATING?

We offer season seating packages in Melbourne for our home games only, with both junior and adult packages available. Click here for more information on season seating packages.
 

WHAT IDENTIFICATION DO I NEED TO BECOME A CONCESSION OR YOUTH CONCESSION MEMBER?

Getting a concession or junior membership is simple and easy. Just provide a copy of your concession card to Membership Services when purchasing your membership or alternatively email a copy of your concession ID to memberships@geelongcats.com.au. Keep in mind that you will still need to bring your concession card along with your membership to the games to gain entry. 

Concession memberships purchased without proof of concession will be accepted, however memberships will not be fulfilled or posted until concession ID has been sighted by Membership Services.

DO I FIT THE CRITERIA OF A JUNIOR MEMBER?

Anyone aged 14 years and under as of the 1st of January 2017 is eligible for a junior membership. All junior members are required to provide their date of birth when signing up for their membership.

General

HOW IS MY PERSONAL INFORMATION USED BY THE GEELONG CATS?

All personal information you provide will be used by Geelong Cats and the AFL in accordance with the AFL & AFL Clubs’ Privacy Policy available here. By providing your personal information, you agree to such use by the Geelong Football Club and the AFL. If you would like to manage the communications that you may receive, please log on to your MyCATS Account and unsubscribe under the edit email preferences section.
 

CAN I COME AND WATCH TRAINING SESSIONS AT SIMONDS STADIUM?

We have a number of open training sessions throughout the year and love to have our fans come along to watch.

We will let you know when these sessions are occurring via our website, social media and eNewsletter. Please keep in mind training times and venues are always subject to change.
 

HOW DO I FIND OUT WHAT IS HAPPENING AT THE GEELONG CATS?

Members who have a valid email address will receive regular eNewsletters, ‘Match Day Guide’ (each home game week) and ‘Team Selection’ direct to their inbox. It provides members with everything they need to know about what is happening around the club. Members will also be the first to receive breaking news and announcements from the club, plus members-only offers. 

Fans can sign up to receive the ‘Team Selection’ eNewsletter and updates from the club by creating a MyCATS account. Alternatively, our website geelongcats.com.au has the latest news and updates on the club.
 

ARE THERE ANY GEELONG CATS INTERSTATE SUPPORTER GROUPS I CAN JOIN?

Our supporter groups are always looking for new people to join as members. Currently we have supporter groups based in Perth and Canberra. If you are interested in joining a group or would like more information please click here.
 

HOW DO I JOIN THE CHEER SQUAD?

WHERE CAN I BUY GEELONG CATS MERCHANDISE?

The Cats Shop is the place to find all your on-field and supporter apparel. So check out the Cats Shop at Simonds Stadium or jump online here and show your support for the team!

Trading hours are:
Monday to Friday: 9am - 5pm
Saturday: 10am - 3pm 
Sunday: Closed

Match Day

HOW DO I USE MY MEMBERSHIP AT SIMONDS STADIUM?

General admission members have access to General Admission seating and standing areas (subject to capacity) located at the northern end of the stadium in the Gary Ablett Terrace.

Single ticket reserved seats go on sale at the beginning of the season through Ticketmaster, which can be purchased by phoning 1300 136 122, online at Ticketmaster or through any Ticketmaster outlet. General Admission members are required to quote their 12 digit membership barcode number when making a purchase in order to receive the members’ discounted pricing.

HOW DO I USE MY MEMBERSHIP FOR HOME MATCHES AT ETIHAD STADIUM AND THE MCG?

Etihad Stadium
Members with game entitlements can scan into the ground and access the general admission areas which are generally located on level 3. Single ticket reserved seating (varying on 1,2 and 3) go on sale at the beginning of the season through Ticketmaster, which can be purchased by phoning 1300 136 122, online at
Ticketmaster or through any Ticketmaster outlet. General Admission members are required to quote their 12 digit membership barcode number if upgrading to a reserved seat in order to receive the members’ discounted pricing.

MCG
Members with game entitlements can scan into the ground and access the general admission areas which are generally located on level 4. Single ticket reserved seating (varying on 1, 2, 3 and 4) go on sale at the beginning of the season through Ticketek, which can be purchased by phoning 132 849, online at Ticketek or at any Ticketek outlet. General Admission members are required to quote their 12 digit membership barcode number if upgrading to a reserved seat in order to receive the members’ discounted pricing.

 

ON MATCH DAY IF I HAVE A QUESTION WHERE DO I GO?

Membership Services has staff to answer any query outside and inside the stadium. In 2017, Membership Services will be located at on the ground level of the Brownlow Stand.
 

HOW CAN I BOOK A RESERVED SEAT AT A SIMONDS STADIUM MATCH?

Single ticket reserved seats can be purchased via Ticketmaster, at Ticketmaster, by calling 1300 136 122 or through any Ticketmaster outlet. Members can use their barcode to access discounted pricing.

 

WILL MY MEMBERSHIP PROVIDE ME WITH ACCESS TO AWAY GAMES?

Melbourne or Home & Away members have access to Geelong Cats away matches at the MCG and Etihad Stadium. All other members are unable to scan in and are required to purchase a ticket to gain access.
 

WHERE DO MEMBERS SIT AT AWAY GAMES?

Melbourne or Home & Away members have access to general admission areas at Geelong Cats away matches in Melbourne. All other members are unable to scan in and are required to purchase a ticket to gain access. Please note there is no designated area for Geelong Cats members at away games.
 

CAN I GIVE MY MEMBERSHIP CARD TO A FRIEND TO ATTEND A GAME IN MY ABSENCE?

Yes, however if you hold a concession or a junior membership the person using the membership must also qualify as a concession or junior to utilise the card. Social Club memberships are non-transferrable and cannot be utilised by anyone other than the member.
 

CAN MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY WHO ARE NOT MEMBERS SIT/STAND WITH ME?

Yes, providing you do not have a season/reserved seat at the ground. Non-members will be required to purchase their reserved seat at the same time as the member via the relevant ticketing agent. Or you will be able to sit or stand together in the general admission areas (subject to match category and availability).
 

HOW DO I BUY TICKETS FOR INTERSTATE GAMES?

Interstate members are required to return their booking form to Membership Services by the cut-off date for the relevant match as specified by the Club. All other members do not have access entitlements to tickets through their membership and will have to contact the appropriate ticketing agent to purchase tickets.

IS THERE DISABLED AND EASY ACCESS SEATING?

Disabled seating and easy access seating can be obtained (subject to availability) through the relevant ticketing agent for each venue listed above. Members with companion cards must present the companion card when purchasing a ticket in order to obtain a second ticket for their companion at no charge.
 

DO YOU HAVE PACKAGES FOR MEMBERS/SUPPORTERS TO INTERSTATE MATCHES?

Reserved Seats

IS THERE A SEAT RETURN PROGRAM AT SIMONDS STADIUM?

Yes, we do have a seat resale program. 'Seat Return' is available to all eligible season seat holders at Simonds Stadium. Members can return their seat via their MyCATS account or with a Membership Services team member. Seating will be made available for Cats fans to purchase through Ticketmaster.
 

CAN I CHANGE MY SEASON SEAT AT SIMONDS STADIUM?

There is currently seating available throughout Simonds Stadium. All members are welcome to contact Membership Services to find out what seating options are available.
 

CAN I APPLY FOR SEASON SEATING AT SIMONDS STADIUM?

Yes! With mixed availability throughout Simonds Stadium, we encourage people to contact Membership Services to discuss all available seating enquiries and options.
 

WHAT MEMBERSHIP DO I NEED FOR A SEASON RESERVED SEAT?

For a season seat at Simonds Stadium, members can hold a Home or a Home & Away membership. For season seating in Melbourne members can hold a Home, Home & Away or Melbourne membership.
 

IF I REQUEST TO CHANGE MY SEATS WILL I RETAIN MY CURRENT SEATS IF MY REQUEST IS UNSUCCESSFUL?

Yes, we will take payment for your current membership and seating at the time of your request.
 

HOW WILL I KNOW IF I’VE BEEN SUCCESSFUL IN CHANGING MY SEATS?

Seat changes for 2017 will occur at the time of an enquiry with a Membership Services representative.
 

CAN I TRANSFER MY SEAT TO ANOTHER PERSON?

Yes, you can. You must submit this request in writing, either on your renewal form or email, including the new seat holders details and payment information. The person receiving the seat must also link a valid membership to the seat.
 

A FAMILY MEMBER/FRIEND HAS PASSED AWAY AND HAS A SEAT. CAN THE SEAT BE TRANSFERRED TO SOMEBODY ELSE?

Yes, the executor must submit in writing, either on the renewal form or email, including the new seat holders details and payment information. The person receiving the seat must also link a valid membership to the seat.
