Seating & ticketing


Geelong Social Club seating is available on a first in basis located Level A within bays A32, A33 and A34 of the Charles Brownlow Stand. Geelong Social Club Members are unable to pre-reserve a seat for GMHBA Stadium matches; therefore seating will be available on a “first come, first served” basis.

There is an even mix of premium undercover and non-undercover seating available for Geelong Social Club Members and their guests.

Geelong Social Club Members and their guests must be in attendance in order to occupy a seat. Members and/or guests are unable to reserve / “save” seats for patrons not in attendance of the venue. Event ushers will be monitoring seating areas for Members and/or guests not adhering to this.

Geelong Social Club Members must present, and have visible at all times, their Geelong Social Club Membership card and lanyard for access into the Geelong Social Club areas. Guest pass holders must present, and have visible at all times, their valid guest pass ticket for access into the Geelong Social Club areas.

Geelong Social Club seating at the MCG is located on Level N (level 2) Great Southern Stand. Geelong Social Club Members are required to pre-book a reserved seat ticket for themselves (at no cost*) and their guests via Ticketek.

Please note walk up seating is not available in the Social Club for MCG matches. To access level N (Level 2) seating you are required to pre-book a reserved seat ticket for yourself and your guests via Ticketek.

Remember to have your 12 digit membership barcode number ready when making a booking.

For access to Social Club seating enter via gate 4 or 5, take the stairs or lift to Level N (Level 2).

Bar & dining



Geelong Social Club Members and their guests will have exclusive access to bar and dining facilities in the Charles Brownlow Stand including:
  • Walk up table service in the Geelong Social Club Dining Restaurant (there will be no bookings or holding tables)
  • Bar and takeaway dining options from the Feast menu
Restaurant diners may need to be seated on a shared tables with other Geelong Social Club Members. When the dining room is closed at the first bounce, all tables and chairs will be removed to ensure full bar access.
Geelong Social Club dining room and bar areas are located on Level B within the Geelong Social Club room of the Brownlow Stand. The room is accessible via the concourse or via aisles A32, A33, A34 within the seating area.

Bar and dining areas will be available from the gate opening time specific to each game (approximately two hours before first bounce). The bar area will be open for at least one hour after the final siren.


Geelong Social Club members and their guests have exclusive access to bar and dining facilities on Level 2 of the Great Southern Stand, Hassett Room and Miller Room.

Hassett Room – located directly behind seating bays N6-N8 with views overlooking the arena. The Hassett Room offers a full cash bar and sit down bistro menu.

Miller Room - located directly behind seating bays N13-N15 with views overlooking the arena. Full cash bar and snack items are available to purchase.

For access to these rooms enter via gate 4 or 5, take the stairs or lift to Level N (Level 2).


GMHBA Stadium Guest passes

One benefit of being a Geelong Social Club Member is the ability to take guests with you to Geelong Cats home games.

Guest passes will only be sold subject to availability, as some matches will have a restricted allocation. Members will be fully responsible for the behavior of those who use their guest passes.

MCG - Ticketek

MCG guest pass prices are the same as a level 2 reserved seat. Please click here for MCG prices. 


Guest passes will only be sold subject to availability.

Guest passes can be purchased via the relevant ticket agent either online, by phone or at ticket agent outlets.

Please ensure you have your Geelong Social Club Membership card barcode number handy when purchasing guest passes (this can be found on the back of your Membership card).

Using your Membership


Geelong Social Club offers Geelong Cats most premium Membership match day experience. Geelong Social Club Members will have access to premium seating, exclusive bar and dining areas, plus much more!

Benefits include:

  • Priority 1 Access to Grand Final tickets (should the Cats compete)
  • Priority access to purchase tickets to Weeks 1 to 3 of the Finals Series
  • Access to Geelong Cats JLT Community Series pre-season games
  • Voting Rights (must be 18 years old or only)
  • Premium, Geelong Cats Membership pack and card, including exclusive Geelong Social Club branded lanyard, scarf and keyring
  • Priority Access to Geelong Social Club facilities, should the Cats compete in a Finals match at GMHBA Stadium – conditions apply
  • Exclusive bar/dining facilities for Geelong Cats home games


GMHBA Stadium

  • Entry via Gate 13 Bob Davis, located at the Charles Brownlow Stand, Western Side of GMHBA Stadium
  • Seating Access – take the main stairs of the Brownlow Stand to Level A, proceed to seating bays A32, A33 or A34
  • Geelong Social Club – accessible via Gate 13 Bob Davis or within the seating bowl Level A, behind aisles A32, A33, A34

  • Members must pre book a reserved seat ticket via Ticketek. There is no walk up seating available for MCG games.

The club is unable to offer Geelong Social Club Members access to facilities for away games. If you wish to book seats for these matches, please contact the appropriate ticket agent.



The Geelong Social Club is currently at capacity and there is a waitlist in place. 


How to join the Geelong Social Club Membership waiting list?

To join the Geelong Social Club waitlist, please contact Membership Services 1300 462 287 or In order to join the Geelong Social Club waitlist, you must be a current Geelong Cats Member and continue to be a Geelong Cats Member throughout the duration of time you are on the waitlist. 


Waitlist Fee

To join the Geelong Social Club waitlist you are required to pay a $25 annual waitist fee, applicable to all waitlist members. This fee is to ensure we maintain a relevant waitlist of members who are ready to join. It must be paid when your Geelong Cats membership is renewed. Failure to pay may result in the member being removed from the waitlist. 


Waitlist Member Cats Shop Voucher

We know that you are excited to join the Geelong Social Club and we thank you for your support and commitment. As a thank you for being on the waitlist you will receive a $20 Cats Shop voucher to use in store. This will be sent out with your membership pack. 


How long must I wait to be a member?

The number of waitlist candidates to be offered a Geelong Social Club Membership upon the conclusion of each Membership renewal period, is at the discretion of the club. Successful candidates will be notified if they are eligible for Geelong Social Club Membership before the commencement of the following season.

Due to a number of variable factors which are taken into consideration when determining new Member intakes each year, it is not possible to estimate the length of time a candidate remains on the waitlist for until they are offered membership.

Dress code

The dress code within the Geelong Social Club at GMHBA Stadium and MCG is smart casual (no shorts, no thongs, no ripped jeans, no tacksuits. Jacket and tie optional. Ladies accordingly).



As a Member of the Geelong Social Club, you will be asked to observe the principles of responsible consumption of alcohol. This will ensure a safe and friendly environment for all patrons and staff.

In association with the Liquor Licensing Commission and the Liquor Control Act the Club has adopted the following principles of responsible serving and consumption of alcohol that all patrons must adhere to:

  • Staff will not serve anyone under 18 years of age
  • Staff will refuse liquor service to intoxicated patrons
  • Drunk and disorderly patrons will be asked to leave the premises
  • A customer who is drunk, violent or quarrelsome must leave the licensed premises when requested to do so. Maximum penalty exceeds $13,000

Geelong Social Club Members breaching the above may:

  • Be refused service by the hospitality staff
  • Be removed from the premises by the Geelong Cats, Security and/or match-day staff
  • Have their Geelong Social Club Membership and entitlements suspended
  • Have their Geelong Social Club Membership and entitlements cancelled


According to local, state and federal law, the Geelong Cats has instigated a policy where the use of bad language or racist remarks will not be tolerated. All Members and their guests are required to behave appropriately whilst attending a match at GMHBA Stadium. In the event of a complaint, the club will be forced to take action by removing the member or guest from the stadium and the Member may forfeit Geelong Social Club Membership privileges. Please note, unacceptable behaviour towards players, Geelong Cats staff, security, match-day attendants or other Geelong Social Club Members or guests will not be tolerated and may result in suspension or expulsion.

Please note: If you are bringing an opposition supporter in as a guest, please advise them it is a Geelong Cats area, and that unacceptable behaviour may lead to ejection.


For a breach of behavioural standards a verbal and/or written warning will be given. All verbal and written warnings will be placed on the Geelong Social Club Member’s permanent file. A maximum of three (3) warnings will be issued before the club will either have the membership card suspended or cancelled depending on the nature of events.


Should clarification be required on any Membership matter contained herein, please contact Membership Services on 1300 462 287. Should any problems arise at GMHBA Stadium on match-days, please approach either the security staff or match-day attendant positioned nearest to you or visit our staff at the Membership Services counter.

Raffle may or may not be conducted on Home match days within the Geelong Social Club. The method of draw will be random, to give all an equal chance of winning. If the winner does not come forward within a reasonable amount of time following the announcement of the winning number a redraw must occur. Prizes are RRP values at $500 or less, no permit are required and purchasers details are not required according to the Victoria Commision for Gambling and Liquor Regulation. 


Please note, the following conditions apply to Geelong Social Club Membership in addition to the general Membership Guidelines:

Geelong Social Club Membership cards and lanyards must be displayed at all times on match days. Please ensure you have your Geelong Social Club Membership card and lanyard and your guests have their guest ticket visible when entering the seating, bar and dining areas of the Geelong Social Club.

Full Geelong Social Club Members are not eligible to have a season GMHBA Stadium or Melbourne seat linked to their Geelong Social Club Membership. If they wish to hold a GMHBA Stadium or Melbourne season seat they must take out a second Geelong Cats Home or Home & Away Membership.

Geelong Social Club Membership does not guarantee access to the Geelong Social Club area or seating within the Geelong Social Club. Access is always subject to capacity/availability. Geelong Social Club Members must follow arrangements as outlined in these guidelines or as communicated by the club

Abuse of Geelong Social Club Membership privileges against the Geelong Social Club guidelines will lead to the forfeiture of these privileges.


Juniors under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times with the Geelong Social Club bar and dining areas at GMHBA Stadium and MCG. Adults bring Junior's into the Geelong Social Club are fully accountable for all Junior's actions.


Geelong Social Club renewals are offered subject to availability and Geelong Cats will endeavour to offer renewal in each year to those who have held Geelong Social Club Membership in the previous year. This offer will be at the discretion of Geelong Cats and is not guaranteed. Should the Geelong Cats not be able to offer Geelong Social Club renewal, the option of alternative Membership may be offered at Geelong Cats discretion. Renewal notifications for Geelong Social Club Membership will be sent to the registered email address of the member in November of each year. It is the responsibility of the Member to follow up renewal notifications which may not have been received. They also must ensure the Geelong Cats has a valid email address and correct contact details at all times.


The Geelong Cats will issue all Geelong Social Club Members with a combined Geelong Social Club and Geelong Cats Membership card, with the exception of AFL Members who will receive a separate Geelong Social Club card from the Club and their AFL Club Support Membership card from the AFL. AFL Club Support Members must use the Membership card issued by Geelong Cats to enter the ground as your AFL barcode/card is invalid for entry at GMHBA Stadium.
